VerdictLong-standing iOS bill-reminder app — narrow scope, works exactly as advertised.

Data last updated 2026-08-13. Checked by the LemSubs research team.

BillTracker is one of the oldest bill-reminder apps on iOS. Its scope is deliberately narrow: enter a bill, set a due date and reminder cadence, and get notified when it is due. Payment tracking is manual — you mark bills paid, the app remembers the history.

There is no bank connection, no subscription intelligence, no forecasting, no cross-platform sync. That simplicity is either the appeal or the limitation depending on what you want. BillTracker is the digital equivalent of a paper bill spike.

If that is what you need — no more, no less — it is fine. If you want any form of automation or intelligence, look elsewhere.

LemSubs — Subscription Tracker Without Bank Login

LemSubs is a privacy-first subscription tracker. Track every recurring charge, lifetime deal, and renewal in one place — no bank connection, no Plaid, no credentials. Free for individuals.

What LemSubs does

Why no bank connection

Every other tracker on the market — Rocket Money, Mint, Bobby, Trim — asks for your bank credentials through Plaid. LemSubs does not. You add subscriptions manually, forward a receipt, or import a CSV. Your bank stays your bank.
