VerdictModern, mobile-first Quicken product with a serviceable subscription view — subscription-tracking is not the point.

Data last updated 2026-08-13. Checked by the LemSubs research team.

Simplifi is Quicken's answer to Monarch and Copilot: a clean, mobile-first personal finance app for people who want budgeting without the weight of the classic desktop Quicken product. It handles cash flow forecasting well, and the 'Planned Spending' surface makes it easy to see what is committed vs. what is discretionary.

Subscriptions appear on a dedicated Recurring surface that lists detected charges and lets you set alerts. It is one of the better implementations in the personal-finance category, though still short of what a dedicated tracker offers — no overlap detection, no arbitrage, no refund-window logic, no household split.

Strengths: cash-flow modelling, mobile UX, and the Quicken brand's reliability on bank connections. Weaknesses: US-only bank sync, no free tier, and subscription features stop at detection and alerts. Good pick if you want a modern all-in-one from a trustworthy vendor.

Not the right shape if the specific problem is subscription sprawl.

LemSubs — Subscription Tracker Without Bank Login

LemSubs is a privacy-first subscription tracker. Track every recurring charge, lifetime deal, and renewal in one place — no bank connection, no Plaid, no credentials. Free for individuals.

Built by Deepak Shukla after losing $47,000+ to forgotten renewals and zombie subscriptions across six businesses. Used by founders, freelancers, and small teams who want to know what they're actually paying for without handing a third party read access to their bank accounts.

What LemSubs does

Why no bank connection

Every other tracker on the market — Rocket Money, Mint, Bobby, Trim — asks for your bank credentials through Plaid. LemSubs does not. You add subscriptions manually, forward a receipt, or import a CSV. Your bank stays your bank.
